Hello! My name is Sarah and I graduated in 2017 with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with over eight years of experience, my work focuses helping individuals manage life’s most challenging transitions and by creating a safe, supportive environment for navigating the aftermath of trauma and loss. I enjoy empowering my clients to learn about themselves and their experiences to build resilience, find peace, and make transformative change.
My specialties include bereavement and traumatic grief, end-of-life concerns, serious or chronic illness, caregiving, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and sexual trauma. I am also skilled in areas of dissociation, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, compassion fatigue, survivors’ guilt, neurodiversity, existential or spiritual crisis, moral injury, positive identity building, increasing self-care skills, and fostering healthy relationships.
I utilize a person-centered approach and will match my techniques of art therapy, meditation, mindfulness, Flash Technique, EMDR, and others to fit your unique personality and needs. I believe in showing up in therapy as my full, authentic, and curious self and will encourage you to join me by being just who you are. If you appreciate a therapist who’s compassionate, open-minded, and a bit nerdy, I believe we will work well together.
