Welcome! I invite you, your experiences, and every one of your emotions — especially the ones you would rather avoid — to come as you are. Rather than push down depression, anxiety, shame, and self-doubt, we will listen with curiosity and compassion to the messages they want to convey. Working from person-centered, parts work, and existential perspectives, I aim to help you learn that the very emotions and parts you are running from are the same emotions and parts that can help you fully experience and navigate through Life’s challenges and wonders.
My journey as a Professional Counselor Intern is motivated and informed by the people I have met throughout a decade in the mental health field here in Fort Collins, and a previous career as a high school teacher. I carry experiences from living in multiple states and countries, and celebrate the diversity and experience embodied in every person.
